This is unique decorative wall hanging WOODEN SHIPS WHEEL with a central brass hub, carefully constructed in shesham wood, perfect for use as an accessory in a pirate ship or perhaps as part of a NAUTICAL THEMED BATHROOM .

This timber ship’s wheel is made in the time-honoured way, from arc-shaped sections of wood laid up in overlaps around turned spokes to form a circle. The WHEEL HAS SIX SPOKES each spoke has been skilfully turned and the wheels are assembled with plugged screw heads.

The steering wheel features a BRASS HUB in the centre which can be used to hang it on a wall in your LIVING ROOM or CONSERVATORTY, in fact it would not look out of place in any room where you would to create a NAUTICAL aspect.

The cast brass centre bosses measure 2.5cm (1 inch) and are individually tested for stress faults before assembly. Straight bored for a keyway fitting. Please note this wheel is for decorative use only and not intended for serious seagoing use.
